Join a prayer rally near the Glorious temple, and holy water from the playmate of St. Michael pour upon you.
Former Vice President Teofisto Guingona, Representatives Satur Ocampo and Risa Hontiveros, former Pangasinan vice governor Oscar Orbos, Senator Ana Consuelo “Jamby” Madrigal, Father Robert Reyes, and other political leaders and church people joined a prayer rally organized by a group led by patriotic bishops. They wanted to join others who were gathered near the Palace of Garci’s phone pal, and they all got wet.

it’s baptism of fire for many who never thought it would come this far. i only wish someone would put up a great big site with all the photos that were obviously being taken of these recent outrageous events. yet what do we have on the front page of the PDI today, kiddies and flowers front and center.Yet there must be gigabytes of digital photos. where are they all?
While certainly dramatic and may be even hysterical, video and pictures of certain politicians and their supporters getting hosed down at that ‘prayer rally’ also serve to highlight the fact that they were indeed asking for it. The Macapagal-Arroyo administration had already made it clear that such antics would not be tolerated and being a brazen political ploy (an image of aged Guingona along with religious people being hosed down) as it is, what should they have expected? I am in no way saying that GMA was right or that the police were right in dispersing that assembly in such a violent manner, but then again, the rallyists must have or should have expected this to happen. Ladies and gentlemen, let’s not be naive… Politics isn’t about good and evil, it’s about power… Those who have it and those who want it.
It is ironic for Filipinos to equate politics with good and evil
It should be morality and values together with noble purpose to serve one’s country
ITS HIGH TIME TO CHANGE THE IMAGE OF “PHILIPPINE POLITICS”
